Postcards from Mount Blackmore

Mount Blackmore is a peak in the northern Gallatin range that rises to 10,154 feet above sea level. And from Hyalite Reservoir it’s about six miles to the top.

It’s a tough climb, but I was able to ride more of it than the bike rode me. That said, there was still plenty enough hike-a-bike to get all the way up.

It looks and feels like the top of the world.

As usual, riding with a Stone Hound Trail Dog pack and tube strap.

Product testing always makes for a good excuse to get outside and escape for a few hours.

Where the real fun starts. Also when the uphill effort finally feels so worthwhile.

Where’s Waldo?
It’s definitely not a boring trail.
