Fit, function, and … fall colors?

We don’t always get fall foliage in Montana. Sometimes the weather just turns, from summer-hot one day to snowing the next.

This year though there are leaves turning yellow, red, and orange and the colors are vibrant.

It seemed especially so on a recent ride down Charlie’s Face. The autumn hues seemed prime for great photo, maybe two. So, it was probably as good of a time as any to try and show the fit and function of Stone Hound’s Trail Dog hip pack.

It seems open for debate whether or not these photos do any real justice to either the foliage or the Trail Dog, but it made for a great excuse to stay out riding a little longer.

So, it wasn’t a total squandering of an afternoon.
